Leslie William Hoops 

1964-2013


 Leslie William Hoops, 48, of Stevensville, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Community Medical Center.  He was born December 8, 1964, in Dillon,  the son of George William Hoops and Gayla Jeanne McCord.
Les was raised and educated in Dillon and attended Beaverhead County High School.  He spent most his life mastering his carpentry skills.  Les was an avid guitar player and fisherman.  He also loved animals and hamburgers.
Les was preceded in death by his parents and his very best friend, “Mike.”  He is survived by his sister Bunny Weidow and her husband, Shelly, of Corvallis; his sister Tammy Laird of Coos Bay, OR; his sister Susie Caizza and her husband, Rick, of Darby; his sister Debra Estrada of Stockton, CA; his brothe Dave White and his wife Julie of Alder; his brother Bob White of Dillon; his brother Kevin Caspersen of Coeur D’ Alene, ID; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 11:00 am at the Daly-Leach Chapel with a reception following in the funeral home’s community room.  Private urn placement will take place.  The family suggests that memorials be made in Les’s name to the Bitterroot Humane Association, 262 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton, MT 59840.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.



William R. Pfliger 

1942-2012


William Ralph Pfliger, 70, passed away December 22, 2012, at Parkview Acres.  Born in Kansas City, MO, on February 10, 1942, Pfliger spent time growing up in Everett, Yakima and Des Moine, WA.
Pfliger is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Pfliger.  He is survived by his father, Adam Pfliger, wife, Marie Pfliger, sister, Janice Etherton (Larry), his children--Sue McManamen (John), Mike Pfliger (Darla) and Christine Seman (Richard)--and grandchildren--Patrick, Christine and Brianne McManamen, Jessica and Sam Pfliger,  Tiffany (Israel) Torres, and great grandchildren Quincy and Ivy Torres.
Services were held at Brundage Funeral Home on the January 5.
