Gustav Wuelfing II

1947 - 2011

Gustav (Gus) Wuelfing II, 63, of Sheridan passed away Thursday, April 7. This ended his lengthy and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Gus was born to Gustav and Dorothy Wuelfing on Dec. 30, 1947, in Chula Vista, Calif.
Gus moved to Oregon in 1964 and spent the next 18 years pursuing a career in the sawmill industry. During those years he became proficient in all aspects of sawmill life.
In 1980, Gus married Kathleen Fenton, and within two years they moved to the family ranch in Sheridan, fulfilling Gus’ lifelong dream.
Gus is survived by his wife, Kathleen; five children, T.J. Wuelfing (Billie Jo), Cammie Wuelfing, Chris Wuelfing, Scott Wuelfing (April), Lindsey Wuelfing; four grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Porath; sisters, Mary Gibbs, Jan (Ray) Young; father-in-law, Jack Fenton; sister-in-law, Lynne (Steve) McWilliams; cousin, Linda Beals; and Marian Carlson.

A memorial service to celebrate Gus’ life will be April 23, at 11 a.m., in the new Sheridan gym.

Donald D. Alley Jr.

1952 - 2011

Donald D. Alley Jr. passed away on April 6 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on Sept 23,1952, to Donald Alley and Joann (Renz) Alley.
He is survived by his mother, Joann; sisters, Carol (Leroy) Crawford, Debbie (Rich) Bourassa and Brenda Hawk; also by numerous nieces and nephews; a greatniece and greatnephew; and a great-greatniece and great-greatnephew.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services as requested.
