Frederick Glenn Crampton  

1916 - 2013 

& Mary Alice Crampton 

1918 - 2013 


Mary and Glenn Crampton recently passed away, within days of each other, in Ukiah, CA, with their loved ones by their sides.
 Glenn was born to Frederick and Mae Crampton, in Helena, and grew up on a ranch called Smallhorn, near Dillon. Mary was born to William and Sarah Colson, and spent her childhood on a ranch near Dubois, ID. They married and in 1937 moved to Red Bluff, CA, where he owned a business for many years. In retirement, Glenn and Mary moved back to Dillon and Smallhorn and eventually to Willits, CA. They recently celebrated their 76th wedding anniversary.
They are survived by: three daughters—Jean More (Warren); Judy Bowman and Jan Upton (John); six grandchildren—Nicholas More (Teresa), Mary More, Anthony More (Jezra), Jonathan Bowman, Samuel Upton (Chatnaree) and Andrew Upton; and two great-grandchildren—Adalin and Evan More. Also surviving are many fond nieces, nephews and cousins. Their sisters and brothers—Doris Winans, William Crampton, Elizabeth Ellis, Ella Holmes, Leah Tavenner, Clay Colson, Millie Williams, Dorothy Colson Martha Foster, William Colson, Helen Miller, Mildred Colson and Kenneth Colson, predeceased them.
 Glenn was a cowboy, a musician, and an ardent outdoorsman. Mary was a lifelong artist, nature lover, and nurturing wife and mother. They were devoted to each other, rich in family and faith, and they will be dearly missed by their family. At their request, there will be no services.



Donald Ray Roscoe 

1925 - 2013


Donald Ray Roscoe passed away Feb. 17, 2013, after a short illness, at Barrett Memorial Hospital in Dillon. Don was born April 5, 1925, in Ft. Collins, CO, the son of Dewey and Florence Roscoe. Upon graduating from Ft. Collins High School in 1944, he joined the U.S. Army Air Corps and served as a bombardier/navigator while flying in B-17 bombers. He flew 50 missions over Europe during World War II and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service. He served again in the Korean War, flying 25 missions in B-26 bombers as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.
Don was married in 1949 to Norma Louise Goodenberger, and they would have celebrated their 64th anniversary this year. They lived in Ft. Collins, where their five children--James, David, Melanie, Kirsten and Kristine--were born. In 1969, they moved to the Seattle area, where Don continued his career in banking and then in business security for The Boeing Company. He volunteered as a docent at the Seattle Air and Space Museum, sharing his love for airplanes and flying. After retiring, Don and Louise moved to the open spaces of southwest Montana in 1995.
Don is survived by his wife, Louise, sister Alice Smith (John) of Ft. Collins, CO, five children, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Don was a kind and gentle man who loved his open spaces and mountain views. He was proud of his family, including the in-laws and outlaws, and was always there with a smile, an encouraging word and supportive hands.
No formal services are planned. There will be a gathering later this year in Dillon to celebrate Don’s life.



Matthew A. Turner  

1972 - 2013


Matthew A. Turner passed away March 31, 2013.  He was born May 19, 1972, in Las Vegas, NV, to Phil and Nancy Turner.  He grew up in Yerington, NV.
He was preceded in death by: his older brother, Clinton and his grandparents  on both sides of his family.
He is survived by: his children and Tiffany Turner of Pingree, ID; his parents, Phil & Nancy Turner; his brother, Philip (Shanda) Turner; and his sister, Natalie (Mike) English, all of Dillon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, two grand-nephews and one grand-niece.



Darcy Lynn Elvidge

1949 - 2013


Darcy Lynn Elvidge passed from this life in Spokane, ‘WA, in January 2013. She was born July 22, 1949, to John and Shirley Harr, in Dillon.
Darcy graduated from Beaverhead County High School in 1967, and three days later married Dan Eddy. They had three children: Brent, Courtney and Stacy. Seven grandchildren and one great-grand child followed.
She loved her family, animals, travel, massage and nutrition. She and Dan later divorced, and Darcy married Jack Elvidge. They were married seven years before he passed away, and she missed him very much.
She always thought of others before herself. Darcy lived a very exciting life full of fun. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by: her family in Washington; her mother, Shirley Harr; a brother, Wesley Harr, from Deer Lodge; and a half brother, Jerry McGahan, in Arlee; and by many nieces and nephews.



Shane Allen Waltner

1980 - 2013  


Shane Allen Waltner, 33, died March 30 2013, in a single-vehicle accident in Molalla, OR. He was born March 19, 1980, in Honolulu, HI.
 Shane is survived by: his parents, Phil and Pattie Waltner (Dillon) and Corky Tudor (American Canyon, CA); sons Jayden Waltner and Samuel Waltner; sister Amber and D. Bergin; brother Ryan and Dani Waltner; brother Darke and Natalie Waltner; brother Miles and Mary Waltner; sister Bailie Waltner; grandmother Virgene Waltner; grandfather Dick Levesque; five nieces; and numerous aunts and uncles.
 Shane is loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
 Services will be: April 20 at 11 a.m. at Prairie Bible Church in Dillon.
