John Tracy Grigg

1953 - 2010

John Tracy Grigg, 57, of Riverton, Wyo., died unexpectedly on April 20, in Riverton.

Tracy was born January 20, 1953 in Cody, Wyo., to Tom and Shirley Grigg.

Tracy attended grade school in Riverton, and graduated from high school in Dillon. He continued his education at Montana State University in Bozeman where he was active on the rodeo team.

He enjoyed his family, friends, horses, rodeo and roping and his many roping buddies around the west.

Tracy had a long career in the oil field industry, first with fluid processors, and then Stallion Oilfield Services as a field supervisor and was well known in the field. Tracy was also a skilled equine dentist.

He is survived by his parents; brother Tom and his wife Kristi; sister Kristie and her significant other Scott Christensen; girlfriend Jody Squire and her daughters Heather and Tanna; uncle, Bill Clark, cousins Margaret Magnus, Elizabeth Hartzell, Catherine Hartzell, Kelly Cain and Cindy McConnaughney, along with their husbands and children; and many dear friends including Mike, wife Maureen, and son Sam Linden.
