Carrie Ann Hildreth Kinda

1982 - 2012

Carrie Ann Hildreth Kinda, 29, of Missoula, Montana passed away after a lengthy illness. She was born on October 10, 1982 in Butte, Montana to Justin Hildreth and Trudy Stauduhar. She grew up on a ranch in Beaverhead County with her brother Brandon Dean and attended schools in Lima, Dillon and graduated from Laurel High School. Carrie graduated with a Master’s Degree from the University of Montana in Missoula and served her internship with the Missoula Crime Lab, the Police Drug Task Force and the United States Office of General Council and was working as a Legal Assistant at the Law Firm of Sullivan, Tabaracci and Rhoades in Missoula.
She was a loving person and you were instantly drawn to her magnetic personality. As a testimony to her giving personality she was actively involved in many organizations Big Brothers/Big Sisters, All Abilities Playground Project, Police Drug Task Force, Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity to name a few. She had a passion for fundraising and helped numerous organizations. She was an advocate for those that were not able to speak for themselves and donated her time as a CNA at Northwest in the role of a caregiver. Carrie was very athletic and enjoyed women’s boxing and participating in competitions, she also did Tae Kwon Do. She was a well-rounded person and took pleasure in speech, drama and music and was rewarded with a place in the National Honor Society for her efforts. Carrie made a valiant effort to battle cancer for seven years and she did it with perseverance and honor continuing to work and give to others during her own trials.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather; James A. Osborne, formerly of Woodburn, Oregon, and Wilber and Lucille Button, formerly of Bozeman, Montana.
She is survived by her parents; Justin (Sandy) Hildreth of Dillon and Trudy (Thomas) Stauduhar of Laurel, brothers; Brandon of Gillette, WY and Jesse of Dillon; step-brothers; John Stauduhar of Gillette, WY, Marcus Stauduhar of Denver, CO, Lane Butler of Dillon, and Logan Bauman of Dillon, step sisters Barb Funk of Denver, CO, and Tisha Stauduhar of Anaconda MT, grandparents; Ralph Keepers of Dillon and Edna Keepers of Laurel, Lowell Hildreth of Dillon, Ruth Ann and Ray Patton of Klamath Falls, Oregon, numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Brundage Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, All Abilities Playground Project or a charity of your choice. A guestbook is available at www.brundagefuneralhome.com.



Eldon Dobson

Eldon Dobson, 81, passed away August 10, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Dad was born in Independence, Kansas, and migrated with his family to California during the Dust Bowl Era. He graduated from high school in Red Bluff California then served two years in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He married Mary Ann Richards and they had two children Melody (Mike) Kilwine of Fromberg, Monty (Julie) Dobson of Deer Lodge, MT.
Dad and Mom had a great life of building homes in California, farming in Myton, Utah, selling real estate in Roosevelt, Utah and Bozeman, building two more homes in Thompson Falls and owning the Lorraine Apartments in Anaconda.
Dad was also instrumental in starting the Big Sky Chapter of the Hudson, Essex and Terraplane Car Club. Dad thoroughly enjoyed finding old Hudsons, restoring them and going to car meets near and far.
Dad was a hard worker and excelled at everything he did. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 43, fighting the disease bravely but it eventually led to his living at Parkview Acres in Dillon.
Dad is survived by his two children, five granddaughters; Amber, Kami, and Katie Kilwine; Heather Dobson, Stephanie (Joe) Smith and two great-grandchildren; a step grandson, Bo Havens and his daughter Krystal; a brother Melvin and five sisters, Opal Allnutt, Zelda Rodahl, Annis Cisneros, Jean Elliott and Jan Correa.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Iva, and a brother, Don.
Cremation has taken place and the family will have a private memorial at a later date.

William Leroy Hugulet

1943 - 2012

William Leroy Hugulet, 69, died at home on Aug. 7, 2012 with complications from cancer.
William was born on January 27, 1943 in Townsend, MT, to Walter and Edith Hugulet. He attended Dillon elementary and graduated from Beaverhead High School in 1961. On September 1, 1962 he married the love of his life Kenna Marie Thomas.
He lived in Dillon and owned Conoco Bulk Plant until 1971. At that time, Bill and Kenna moved to Whitehall where Bill was employed by Vigilante Electric Co-op as a lineman. Bill was promoted to Area Foreman for the Co-op and remained in that position until his retirement in 2005.
William was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Mystic Tie Riverside, Board member of High Peaks Federal Credit Union, Rotarian in the Whitehall Rotary Club, and was President of the Whitehall Little League and Major League baseball coach.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Kenna, Son Lance and wife K.T., Daughter Cindy and Pat Mitchell, Son Ken and wife Kris, four grandchildren, Drew, Shea, Kenzie and Keara, Brother Henry and numerous nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Edith Hugulet.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Whitehall, MT. A reception followed the celebration of his life.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Gayle Sacry and the medical staff at the Whitehall Medical Clinic and all of the individuals who work for the Whitehall Ambulance.




Leo Keppner

1938-2012

Services for Leo Keppner, 74, who died in Lima on Aug. 10, will be held at the Lima High School multipurpose room this Wednesday at 3 p.m. He was born Jan. 19, 1938, in Lewiston, Idaho, to Edith and Webb Keppner. Survivors include his widow, Donna Kay Hoenstine Keppner; three daughters, Debra McDowell of Hazelton, Idaho, Judy Whitworth of Challis, Idaho, and Nikki Ransom of Lewistown; a son Steve of Dubois, Wyo.; his mother; sisters Wilma Urrizaga, Verna Hamilton and Verla Harvey; and a stepson, Tom.



Michael Stosich

1940-2012

Services for Lima resident Michael Ralph Stosich, 71, who died Aug. 12, 2012, will be held Saturday at the LDS church in Lima and will start at 9 a.m. beginning with a viewing, followed by the funeral program at 11 a.m. He was born Nov. 27, 1940. Survivors include his widow, Clara JoAnne Stosich; five children, Vivian Dehl, Michelle Stosich, John Stosich, Ben Stosich, and Mark Stosich; and 16 grandchildren and one great grand-child.
