Robert Arthur McGhee
1938 - 2010
Robert (Bob) Arther McGhee, 71, died at his home in Dillon after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 26, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to Ellen Catherine Bickham and Edgar Arther McGhee. He was the youngest of four siblings.
He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, and sister Eve McGhee; a son, Timothy Allen Lewis, Manchester, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Angela Swayne Lewis, Batesville, Ind.
He is survived by sons, Scott Douglas Lewis (wife) Theresa Lewis, Batesville Ind.; Edgar Arther McGhee and son Joseph Aaron McGhee, Missoula; brother, Jim McGhee, and a sister, Jean Gisford, all of Columbus, Ohio; granddaughters, Patricia Enke and Pamela Gulden, Batesville, Ind.; a grandson, Joseph McGhee; great-grandchildren, Kyra Ellesa Holtgrewe and Scott Keith Gulden, Batesville, Ind.; niece, Suzie Bowersocks, Columbus, Ohio.
Bob enlisted in the Navy in 1958, after serving over 20 years aboard several ships. He retired in 1980, and went on to become an accomplished carpenter, making several beautiful pieces for family and friends.
Bob also developed a love for traveling between California and Dillon in his RV. In 2004, Bob made Dillon his home. One of Bob's many loves was his dog Boone. Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting with lifelong friend Walt Zukauckas.
As were Bobs wishes, a funeral was not held. Respect may be paid to the family via cards in care of Scott D. Lewis, 334 Woodfield Dr., Batesville, Ind., 47006.
Ronald Wayne Wagner
1937 - 2010
Ronald Wayne Wagner passed away peacefully Aug. 22, surrounded by his family.
Ron was born July 16, 1937, to John and Katherine Wagner in Billings. He was the youngest of 11 children.
Ron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeri; son Brad; daughter Brenda (Brad) Zink; grandchildren John and Colter Zink; nephew Rio Crichfield-Weber; and sisters Ruth Rudio, Amelia Frank, and Esther Johnson.
Ron served in the Navy on the minesweeper USS Woodpecker. Ron opened and operated his own CPA business for over 40 years. He was a well-respected member of the business and professional community of Dillon.
Ron was an active member of the Dillon Jaycees, Elks, Beaverhead Foundation, and Presbyterian Church. He was always willing to donate his time to volunteer organizations throughout Beaverhead County.
He loved spending time with his family, fishing and taking rides in the country. He was always ready with a joke and will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Ron will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by everyone whose lives he touched.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m., at Brundage Funeral Home.
