Royal Roland Bock

1932 - 2012

Royal R. Bock, 80, died Thursday, October 4 at Ft. Meade Veterans Hospital, Ft. Meade, South Dakota.  He was born July 14, 1932 at Clayspur near Osage, Wyoming, the son of Gerald Boise Bock and Helen (Roadifer) Bock.
Bock married Patricia Wheeler in Corona, California on August 11, 1956. The couple had nine children.
Bock was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Joseph Royal; a grandson. Friend Royal Robertson; two sisters, Leta Clyde and Anna Larson Mercer; and three brothers, Gerald (Deac); Earl (Bum); and Gerhardt (Jerry) Bock. He is survived by his spouse, Patricia, of Newcastle and five daughters; Mary (Monte) Robertson; Theresa Larrabee; Dolores Bock; Elizabeth Townsend; Virginia (Alan) Hale; three sons; Lawrence (Gayla) Bock; Michael (Cathy) Bock and Paul Bock; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his sister, Geraldine (Bubbles) Brown.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established at the First State Bank of Newcastle, PO Box 910, Newcastle, WY 82701.
