Jo Ann Elizabeth Graham

1952-2012

Jo Ann Elizabeth Graham, 60, of Dillon, passed away on May 18, 2012. She was born April 12, 1952 in Highwood, Illinois to Lorraine and William Holub.
She was married to Barry Gustafson for 19 years and they had three beautiful daughters and one son. Laurie (Justin) Rose, Amber (Ronnie) Marsicano, Beri Jo (Lyle) Schafer, and Jeremy who died at birth.
In 1992, Jo Ann injured her knee in a serious fall while working with seniors, taking to and from home for doctor visits and shopping trips. During her rehabilitation of her knee she decided to go to school for occupational therapy. After she graduated from school her first job brought her to Dillon, where she became a part of this community helping people. She thought of everyone she met as part of her family, with her large smile and huge giving heart no one could resist. In 2003 Jo Ann married Tom Graham and adopted his four children and their children into her heart. They had nine wonderful years of marriage together despite all the trials of dealing with her cancer.
She always kept a positive outlook on life, relying on our Heavenly Father first and foremost and her loving husband secondly. She always let everyone know that the Lord is there to carry you no matter what.
Jo Ann always let the grandkids help even if a bigger mess would be made, because a mess can always be cleaned up.
Her family always was most important, even all her extended family. She thought about everyone else before herself right to the end. Now she is with the Lord and all the loved ones who have gone before her. So all remember she will be watching.
