Grant A. Darley
1934 - 2010
Grant A. Darley, 76, passed away Feb. 19, in Dillon.
He was born May 24, 1934 in Rupert, ID., to George and Mary Grace Darley. He grew up in Rupert, attending the schools and activities of the LDS Church in that vicinity.
He enlisted in the Marine Corps, and was stationed at Santa Ana, CA.
Grant married Dixie Mae McMurdie. They had one child. Michael Dean Darley, born May 1, 1957. Grant and Dixie were later divorced.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George Lloyd Darley and Carl Thomas Darley.
He is survived by sisters, Lola Yearout (Mike), and Marie Garner (Eldon); and brother, Keith Darley (Maxine).
He was extra loving to all and a hard worker. We are grateful to his wonderful ward family. Grant will be missed by all whom his life touched.
Interment was Tuesday, Feb. 23, in Dillon. Graveside services will be performed by Bishop Chad Hansen at 2:30 p.m., following burial at 1 p.m.
