Aubura Fay Hignight
1913 - 2011

Aubura Fay "Audie" Hignight was born Dec. 20, 1913 in Butte to Albertus and Nellie Bancroft Wilbur. She passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 1, in Dillon. Her funeral was held yesterday at 11 a.m., at the Dillon L.D.S. Church, with viewing for an hour preceding the service.
Aubura was educated in Butte schools and Butte Business College. She married John Harold Jensen Dec. 19, 1933, in Butte. They moved to Dillon in January 1935 to help her father in the Andrus Grill, and later the Wilber Cafe on Montana Street.
Her husband passed away a few months later, and their son, Harold, was born shortly after that. She married Henry Hignight on Sept. 16, 1940. She worked in various businesses, and retired from Vigilante Electric in 1978.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When living in Butte, she taught primary, and was a member of the choir. She also sang in the choir in the Dillon church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her son, Harold Jensen; an infant daughter, Fay; and her brother, Melvin Wilbur.
Survivors include nephews, Allen (Joyce) Wilbur, Pahrump, Nev.; Bob McMurchy, Dillon; Jack (Sandy) McMurchy, Prince George, Va.; Steve (Jane) Hignight, Woodland, Calif.; nieces, Peggy Plumlee, Phoenix, Ariz.; Pat (Ron) Long, Highwood; Christine (Bill) Kolar, Dillon; daughter-in-law, Mina; grandsons, Joe (Ana), and Ronnie, and their families, all of Los Angeles, Calif.; a number of cousins, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and four great-grandchildren also survive; special friends, Mary Watters, Marion Williams and Hank Greitl; and a special grand-niece, Jody (Matt) Bowman, Dillon.
