Joseph E. Perusich
1938 - 2013
Joseph E. Perusich, son of Joseph L and Helen (Malensek) Perusich, passed away March 14, 2013, at his home in Diamond Bar, CA, of natural causes.
He was born June 5, 1938, in Butte. Joe attended schools in Butte, Hamilton and graduated from Beaverhead County High School in Dillon. In September 1956, he enlisted in the Army, 82nd Airborne Division, and was honorably discharged in 1959. He held several jobs in law enforcement in Montana, Colorado and California.
In 1964, he married Marion Healey in Pasadena, CA. They had one son and later divorced.
Joe enjoyed fishing from California to Alaska and was passionate about hunting in his favorite areas around Hamilton.
Joe was preceded in death by: his parents; his sisters, Irene Hobson, Darlene Ray and Beverly Barber; and his “boys,’’ Buddy and Bear.
He is survived by: his son, Kirk; brother Jim; sisters Dorothy Rebich, Marie Corcoran, Shirley (Tom) Reynolds, Bobbie (Steve) Weech and Carol (Jim) Steinborn. He also leaves behind his “girls,’’ Frannie, Beauty and Blackie.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of Joe’s life will be held this summer.
Buster Brown
1934 – 2013
Buster Brown passed away April 5, 2013, at Barrett Hospital. He was born on Nov. 3, 1934.
Buster is survived by: his wife Sheri; three sons—Cody (Diana) Brown of Dillon, Mark (Brenda) Brown of Challis, ID, and PJ Brown of Dillon; and daughter Kolene Brown of Woodridge, CO.
Graveside services will be Wed., April 10, at 11 a.m., in Mountain View Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held after the burial at Beaverhead County Fairgrounds in the 4- H Building.
